Submission of Industrial Perspectives proposals | |
Notification | |
Camera-ready |
Industrial Proposals can be submitted in a paper format, as videos or descriptions of demos. Paper proposals can be up to a length of 8 pages in the SIGCHI format. The videos and demos must be accompanied with 2 – 4-page descriptions. The form of the presentation at the conference will depend on the proposal: it can be a standard presentation for a case study, or it can be a video, demonstration of an application or process.
We welcome submissions that are designed with an interdisciplinary mobile HCI audience in mind. Proposals should NOT be anonymized and must contain an abstract with less than 150 words that clearly state the proposal’s contribution. In addition to the abstract, remember to tell why the case study, video or demo would be valuable for a wider audience of industry and academic practitioners.
Submissions should not be anonymous.
All submissions will be reviewed by peers having experience working both in industry and academia. The focus in review will be on general interest for the audience and how well the presentation enlightens industry realities, rather than strict academic criteria. All submissions will remain confidential during the review process.
Accepted proposals will be included in the ACM Digital Library as part of the MobileHCI 2021 Adjunct Proceedings. The authors will have the opportunity to present their work during the conference during dedicated industry perspectives sessions. Upon acceptance, you have to present your work at the conference. At least one author of each proposal must register to the conference.
