Information for Authors
Questions can be issued either by physical attendees using microphones provided by the venue, or through Discord (these will be read out to you by an SV or session chair).
Please upload your presentation at the latest on the day prior to your scheduled talk, using the form link sent to you in the author instructions email, to allow the session chair enough time to check everything and download the presentation on the podium laptop. If you have not received the author instructions email, please contact the general chairs by email.
Also, you’re expected to be physically present near your poster or demo during the morning coffee breaks on 27, 28, and 29 September and during the dedicated demo/poster session on the 28th (4:30 - 5:30 pm EEST).
If possible, please keep an eye on your poster/demo Discord channel in case you receive questions from a remote attendee. If you would like to set up a voice chat about your work with remote participants, the poster/demo Discord channels are voice enabled.
Please note we do not have dedicated devices for you to use to engage with Discord. You can use your mobile or laptop computer for this purpose (headphones and microphone recommended).
Depending on your timezone, please try to be available on your dedicated Discord channel during the morning coffee-breaks on 27, 28, and 29 September, and during the dedicated demo/poster session on the 28th (4:30 - 5:30 pm EEST).
The poster/demo Discord channels are voice channels - please ensure that you have a working microphone and have tested its functionality with Discord, before joining. Please be prepared to receive and to reply to participants’ questions both through text and voice.

Additionally, all LBW & Demo authors should be prepared to participate in a madness session to present their poster to the conference - the time allocated will be 60 seconds (1 minute) each.
LBW authors should prepare an additional video for the madness session and upload to PCS by 10th.
Authors should consult the accessibility page for more information on how to prepare camera-ready PDFs for to support accessibility. Accessible PDFs are not required by MobileHCI’23 but are highly encouraged. For support in preparing an accessible submission, please contact our accessibility chairs (access2023@mobilehci.acm.org)
