Student Volunteers

We are looking for motivated student volunteers for MobileHCI 2015. As a student volunteer, you are the face of the conference, assisting chairs, speakers, and attendees in making the conference a success. Your duties include setting up the conference infrastructure, manning the registration desk, assisting speakers, helping conference attendess, and cleaning up after the conference.

In return you will get an awesome MobileHCI 2015 SV t-shirt, free conference registration and materials and free meals during the conference and most importantly, a chance to meet and network with established members in the community as well as your student peers.

Important Dates

  • Application Period Starts: February 20th 2015

  • Notification of Acceptance: May 15th 2015

Arriving and Leaving

As an SV you pay for your own travel to and from the conference and any meals that are not provided as part of the conference. You need to arrive in Copenhagen on or before August 23th, 2015 (you have to attend the SV meeting on August 23th starting at 18:00) and stay till the very end of the conference (16:00 on August 27th).

Application Instructions

To apply, you must be an undergraduate, Master, or Ph.D. student at the time of the conference. No previous experience is required. You will commit to work approximately 20 hours before, during, and after the conference.
